    Coming to a conclusion...

Well said. I found my NA just poking around on Autotrader past my bedtime one night. Next night, I owned a 100% stock NA auto 88. Was an amazing car... still kinda miss her. The stock ones are out there, but considering that they are popular, and reasonably affordable, not to mention easily...

    chevy 350 swap

Ever been a skinny kid on a teeter totter Al? :p Agreed on the power goal though, especially for the price, the iron blocks aren't bad, just not my style I suppose. You know, the easiest car I ever drifted was my old SS Camaro. No idea the F/R balance, but the wheel base was long, the torque...

Who made 1jz twin exhaust mani

There was a set in the JZ parts FS section a while back. Can't remember the seller, but you should be able to find it if they're still for sale. Good luck!

    Need help diagnosing a problem.

Get her figured out yet? I'll add my two experiences with starting issues on my car: -Main harness connection at the positive battery terminal. Mine was (due to not having a proper battery tie down), holding on by literally 3 little strands of copper. Re-wired it in a parking lot, solved that...

A Few Questions about my Swap

Not nearly enough. At least not with a bigger radiator (which is effectively a heat sink if your fan isn't up to the task). Only reason I get away with it at all is due to the climate here. ;) Another reason to go with an OEM system from a good car? Dealerships HATE doing warranty work. Hence...

1JZ swap cutting firewall for harness questions

We stuffed mine in through the hole that the speedometer cable runs through IIRC. We'll not do that again though, was kinda a pain in the ass. Will be done better on the widebody. Also, even if you do this you will still need to extend the harness, correct? Been years since I've looked into the...

How much does your supra weigh?

Very nice man. True story though, weight of fuel does change handling a bit. People wonder why I tend to race with a full tank, I tell them it's for traction reasons. :p

    Paint Job Color Suggestions anyone?

I'll second that recommendation, a friend has an IS in this color, it does look great. :)

Hood liner or no hood liner

I did not know this. I had to cut my stock twin heat shield in half to get it back on (was a pain to get out in the first place) when we did my downpipe/y-pipe. So, when I put it back together, to seal up where I had cut, I put Stinger Roadkill across the seam. I figured it would have melted by...

Got hit, recommendations? Will my car get totaled? KBB doesn't go beyond 1993(pics)

I got pretty lucky and he stayed after hitting my car. As for using the money for the photography business, it sounds like a case of strange blessings to me. ;) Tee hee, you might be after the wrong car my friend...

I hate my shift knob...... Help Please :)

Haha, hence why I have tint in the last... all but one car I've kept? :p Phoenix is hell on interiors. Oddly enough at the altitude I'm at now, it is just as bad, even thought the ambient temp is nowhere near as hot. Note to self: tint the Mk2's windows before summer.

Oil Cooler Setup Questions -8 or -10

Do you have time to wait until you can upgrade the cooler itself? If so, I would suggest waiting until then. Cheaper (and a better use of your time) to do that. ;)

Need Help! Rear Diff Noise After Suspension Rebuild

Empty a can of food. Put said can up to your ear and tap it with a fork or something. Now stuff said can with newspaper or cotton. Repeat the tapping. Notice a difference? ;)

    7mge quarks...

Said it best right here. The stock cooling system also includes many air dams meant to direct air to the best place it could go: through the radiator. Many people take these off for various, generally foolish reasons. Even stock it is quite capable, if it is all there and functioning properly. ;)

    Coilovers questions and help.

Sure thing man, glad you're enjoying them. :) For what it's worth, the first time I tried to raise the height (to adjust to "Wyoming" roads haha), I actually lowered the front even more. Was tucking on 275's, and still had room to go lower. I wouldn't be surprised if you could damn near set the...
