So i had a boost leak, so then i fixed it. I took my car out for a run and my car backfired in higher RPM's. I need a basis for comparison.. on stock oil/psi gauge

I'm going on a road trip tomorrow, and I'm just wondering where your stock oil pressure gauge sits at around 3000rpms. Mine sits at 20psi. Is it normal for it to drop just below that mark after about 20 miles of driving with cruise control. Thanks a lot guys, anything that ya'll can tell me will...

    Alcohol Injection and MAFT

I've been looking into alcohol injection and i came across this.. http://www.snowperformance.net/proddetail.asp?prod=auto023 Its an alcohol injection kit for cars running the GM MAF sensors. If i installed this kit pre-MAF-T (the black box which converts GM to KV), then this looks like it would...

    MAFT users... CEL from HAC?

I've been running MAFT for a few months now, I really like it but every now and then my car will run funny and studder, throwing the CEL. Clearly I know its my HAC because i get codes 31 and 32 (usually, if not always these codes appear together.) I have the MAFT correctly wired to the HAC...

    The best setup for PCV?

Okay, I was wondering what is the best way to set up the PCV. There are a few things to take into consideration. The valve covers need vacuum, so no breathers (had to blow my cam seal to figure out why). The stock route clearly works, but there is a major vacuum leak from the port on the...

    random oil leak

The past couple days i've had a very strange oil leak. It seems to be very unpredictable. I know that my hose from my valve covers down the the block is cracked at the top, this leads to a small ammount of oil on the driver's side of the block. The real problem is the leak near the timing belt...

I went to the dyno today and I was wayyyyy lean (16) until about 3.5k, I've heard its a really bad idea to add fuel before this point, so what do i do? I have an SAFC and MAFT, no i do not have a fuel pressure regulator and no i wouldnt like to buy one, what are my options? Btw, the dyno read...

hmm I'm just going to run this by ya'll real quick..

I've got some extra heat protective covering from some wires, I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to use this on my SS turbo oil feed lines since they are literally up against the turbo manifold. This protective tubing is made for lines, wires, and hoses. Could this do any harm? Better...

HAC connected wrong? (with maft on pre89)

I thought i had my MAFT hooked up to my HAC wiring harness correctly, but i guess not. Tonight i got a CEL and pulled codes 31 and 32, the AFM and the HAC sensor. There must be something wrong, i believe i tapped the red wire, does anyone have a wiring harness that'll show me if i did it right...

Did i get the right FCD?

Hey guys, Just a quick question.. i was under the impression that the Type-K FCD had no dial on it. I just got mine and it had a dial. It is the type K3 and it was specified as being the correct FCD for the supra, and even comes with directions for an MKIII. Just correct me if i'm wrong, i'm...

FCD question.. K type or Standard.

-I read that the standard (w/ screw) isnt that great, and completely removes fuel cut. I read it doesnt always work with 7m's. -I read the K type scales the fuel cut (no screw), but it wasnt clear to me if it worked with the 7m. what i need to know is will this completely remove fuel cut...

    Help.. i want a digital A/f gauge.

So i'm looking for a digital wideband display.. i already have a zeitronix wideband controller with a bosche sensor. I am completely aware that zeitronix makes their own digital display for the wideband o2, but i do not like it, it looks too small, its too expensive, and it displays EGT and...

    AEM Dry Flow Air Filters

has anyone tried them yet? They seem to be a pretty nice alternative to the K&N's which can cause damage to the AFM when oil is overapplied. I get mine tomorrow, tho i have no AFM they still seem like a great product.
