Another question along with which turbo, Im shooting for around 500rwhp. Since I wont be running race gas and Ill just be sticking to 91 octane pump gas, will I need to get a turbo rated at more than 500hp to compensate for a gas grade or would I have to just run higher boost?
with supporting mods, I'm looking for around 400-450rwhp on 91 octane pump gas daily. will these turbos get me there? and out of these 2, which will spool faster and hit harder?
I'm shooting for close to 500rwhp. im not sure whether to stay with the stock manifold and equipment and use a boss lipp turbo or go with the driftmotion t4 turbo kit. im looking fast spool, hard boost and reliability. can anyone tell me if one is better than the other?
im kind of new at this...
i dont have first hand experience with it yet but I've been told its a good kit to buy. once i get my supra running again, im planning on buying the 67mm kit. (theyre all the same price. you might as well get the 67mm also lol)
Hey wassup everyone? Im another norcal bay area supra owner also. I just dont post much since I dont know much lol. My supra is down right now with a blown motor but Im in the process of dropping in another motor once my money gets right. Any good help or extra parts would help lol
Curious, could I expect the same performance with the same setup expect stock internals and the driftmotion 67mm turbo kit? and what are you using to bypass fuel cut?
Sorry. Yes theres a metal headgasket. I bought the motor from my friend who use to drift with it. He took it out because his sponsors told him to go 2jz. So he rebuilt this 7mgte and sold it to me. There's 0 miles on it since the rebuild
I'm starting a new project on my 1986.5 NA-T after blowing my motor. I have all of these mods and they are all being put into my car right now. I was wondering if there's anyone on here running a similar setup or maybe some veterans that can tell me what kind of power I can expect...
