my idea was i wouldn't have to deal with gaskets any more and i'd be all set up for later when i moved to a t4 turbo.

Time is money, a $35 cnc'd adapter costs less than my time it takes to install and remove it again. but i do have everlasting hosed down with cleaner and wiped clean at the moment. I have determined the oil feed line is not leaking at so it's either the return or the adapter on the turbo leaking...

Yes i have and i wouldn't use them unless you want a 1jz pulled out of a car sitting in a junk yard for years rather that coming from a working clip.

I rock a ebay downpipe and i'm considering getting a test pipe too.

I would go with a hard line for the oil feed over a hose that will end up swelling in oil.

no one is going to bring up the down side to that soft line?

I find time certs much better than heilcoils

This thread makes me so happy. Every time i read updates i feel the urge to work on my car even if it's just to fix little things. I'm still looking for a shop in my area that can make me a front skid plate/under tray for my car.

I think it's more impressive to be written up for 80+ when going well over 100 due to failure to admit speed and blowing by the cops too fast for them to pace you. Did this once on my motorcycle, never got pulled over.... er a ticket for speeding in my supra.
