I doubt he would have sent you a text saying he got it without first opening it up to make sure he got what he ordered. Maybe the perfume idea came to him an hour later or maybe someone did open it up. Either way, hopefully the pictures you took will help get you off the hook.
Seems like that intake sticks out way further than stock. I'll have to go look at mine, but it looks like it's going to be a tight squeeze.
I think it's absolutely gorgeous though.
I bought the 6765 but I thought about buying the 6265 for a long time before getting the bigger of the two. I love my turbo, but I think the 6265 would have been a better street turbo and capable of well over 500rwhp.
I am now, but when I had my gt35r I was a 1jz. I made more horsepower than him at less boost.
I didn't mean something was wrong with your engine. I meant, you had to either have a giant boost leak, or you bought a smaller turbo than what you paid for.
Nobody was threatening to pull his panties down and spank him. We're all just offering some friendly advice. If he agreed that racing on busy public streets was a bad idea, he wouldn't have made the video, so don't come in here telling us not to post our opinions.
I've streetraced alot so I...
Something is bad wrong with your car. At 23psi, I make 635rwhp and about 595 torque. That's with 93 octane and methanol, but it's still only 23psi. On plain 93 octane and 18psi with a gt35, I was making 440rwhp. No way a t70 and 25psi should be making what you're making. You've got to be running...
I think at 18psi, you'll be right at your goal. I don't know much about the 60-1, but I think it's about the same size as my old gt35r. I made around 440rwhp on a 1jz with it at 18psi on a dyno jet.
I can't remember exactly, but I was on the dyno last month and it seems like I was giong about 160ish in fourth during my pulls. I have the 3.73's with a 275/45/17.
I'll try to find a camera this weekend or the chord to my iphone so I can post one. I'd hate to break the rules. I've heard the moderators on this site can be real pricks at times.
I kid I kid..............lol
I have been doing it for about 20 years.................coincidently, that's when I bought my first supra. It was a 1983 mkii, but I still beat the brakes off of that little 5mge.........lol
I walked by it today and thought about cranking it...........but I was too lazy to walk in the house and get the keys.
I do plan on putting an autotragic in it sometime this winter though.
My suprastick came in today. Now all I need is the plug that plugs into the transmission that will have the SS wired into it. I found someone willing to make one for a hundred dollars, but that seems a bit high. Unfortunately I can't find anybody that has one. I guess I'll be ordering it from...
I'd like to see one somewhere around Tennessee or maybe even Louville again. Any further than that north and it becomes a little too far to drive. My attention span can only last so long.........lol
Does the AEM have fuel trims for when the air temperature and / or water temperature reach a certain degree? It seems like it could be something like that since it only does it when it reaches a certain temperature and then returns to normal after cooling down. Maybe someone accidentally typed...
