Looks good! I've got the same ones on mine. Just so you know you don't need to pull the trim off to replace them. You just push the lens to the back and pull out the front, or I may have that backwards, it's one of the two ways though.
Nothing wrong with stock at all, it looks very clean and well done. I love that color too. I always assumed you were 7M because of your signature haha.
I agree with you for the most part, most young people are dumb, and make bad decisions. But I think the point that GreenChevelleSS and myself are saying is that not all young people like myself are. There are a few of us that are actually intelligent and can see the consequences. Not many of us...
I can understand what you mean about running out of things to do to it. I'm kinda there with mine too since I want to keep mine mostly stock too. I don't drive it nearly as much anymore, but I still love it and when I do drive it it makes it a little more special. That's just what happens as...
Looks clean as usual GrimJack! I was beginning to worry about you and the Supras. Your Supra is one of the nicest, most well done one's around. Glad to see you're still working on it.
I'm one of the younger one's here too and not to sound cocky or anything, but I think I've got one of the cleanest stock MKIII's on the site. I do have to agree with most people my age not treating the car's correctly though. I think I am the odd one for my age group and having a Supra and...
Seems like most of them just developed issues over the years. Mine wouldn't play on the left rear channel I believe from the day I had the car which was 4.5 years ago and it only had 70k miles at the time. I grabbed another out of a junk yard and that one had an issue with it too when I tested...
Vinyl wrap is some pretty cool stuff. I wrapped the corner pieces on my windshield trim at the top. They're supposed to be black but most of them the black has peeled off of by now and they are left chrome looking. It's pretty forgiving stuff and not too bad to work with. I don't have much other...
At first I thought the rims were the cobra rims that I have seen a few people around here run. They look good, I like 5 spoke wheels on MK3's and just about anything else too.
Cool story, and a good read on your Supras. I like to read the history on people's cars. It can usually show a connection between them and the car if there is some history and a back story with it. I can see that your Supra is more than just a car to you. I know what you mean about typing for 2...
These are gonna be the same crap plug and play kits that blind everyone. They certainly don't come with a projector. You have to build your own headlights if you want a projector like I did in the thread that I linked, or you can buy a set premade, but that's gonna be even more than just...
He might be talking about the moldings on the later years that came color matched to the body of the car. I've never dealt with those, because I have an 87, but they might actually be possible to take off and have repainted without too much of a hassle. I thought the later model years got rid of...
How are the tires on it? Any rust? Any paint issues other then the bumpers? I can see that the interior is a little worn looking, but not too bad. If there isn't any rust, the tires are decent, and all the exterior really needs is a cleaning/respray on the bumpers I would list it for $5-6k and...
