Thanks a lot guys you guys are so helpful so basically do the retorque procedure like grim said one at a time or crack them all 1/4 turn all at the same time then retorque to 72 one at a time ...or just do one bolt crack loose retorque etc...I gotta make sure guys Imma be doing this this weekend...
Hey guys so im sort of building my 7mgte that has a good amount of mods already done to it....
i recently pulled the cam covers to see if it arp studs since it already had mods and low and behold it did not
so i got a set of preowned arp studs on the way,the head to me looks rebuilt or cleaned...
Now I'm in quite a dilemma should I get a 57 trim or the 60-1 trim both are good deal I'm seeing some reliability talks of the 60-1 but I just don't know
I also happened to find someone in Richmond with a garett gt4082 for 350 Idk if that's going too big also if Imma need a new exhaust manifold external wg etc. But it sounds like a decent deal to me if basically direct bolt on I'm doing some research on it now
Probably regardless the turbo looks old and rusty I was going to upgrade it but I need to know why the car smokes the way it does which I'm hoping is the turbo I'm looking to spend like 400 bucks on a turbo since the car already has decent upgrades I'm thinking about slapping the 550cc ,bigger...
