    Rear end Clunk

It's typical for the trans mount to be shot too because of a very bad center support bearing. I had ordered both the trans mount and the center support bearing at the same time. I too can wiggle my driveshaft up down left and right almost 2-3 cm because of how bad that bearing is. When I took my...

Brake lights stuck on... is constant power to the brake lights normal?

Theres supposed to be a constant illumination when you have your running lights on. They stay dim while your not on the brake, and get a lot brighter when you step on the brake. If its staying on the hi-intensity side, somethings not right. When your off the brake, you should be able to take...

alignment shop f**ked up my alignment.

Yea man thats so fucked up, i wouldn't have left the shop until they gave me my money back and fixed it the right way, (or at least put it on paper that the would). I'm going to save myself the headache and fork up the money to take mine to Toyota for the full alignment.

    Rear end Clunk

^^^^as for your predicament, your exactly where I am right now. You can actually take your car to a driveshaft shop and get them to make you a one piece with new u joints that are serviceable for around $200. They make sure to balance them too. Thats the route I'm going to take. HA i wouldnt...

    Water Temp Connection Question

Based on my research on this forum and some other ones, most people equate the source of a 'jumpy' temp gauge to be air in the coolant. But mine has been doing this for a while and it gets to be kind of ridiculous at times. When i replaced the temp sensor, i also replaced the old, broken...

    battery keeps going dead

Oh and doing a system check at any of the chain stores wont be able to detect this problem in its early stages. I work at Advance and i just tested a battery last week that the machine told me was fine, but was leaking battery acid like crazy. The guy had the same issue.

    battery keeps going dead

If the top of the battery is wet (or if theres any liquid coming out of the main seam on top) by any means, mix some baking soda and water and put the solution in a spray bottle. Spray it over the top of the battery and or on the sides (wherever its wet) and see if theres any bubbling or...

    Brake Lights Problem......

Oh, didn't think about that. Is there any definite way to tell or test it to see if it's bad?

    Brake Lights Problem......

So yesterday I find out that my brake lights don't get triggered when I step on the pedal. The light that's on the gauge cluster flickers really weird once I start the car and then shines solid when I step on the brake. I went to the hatch and pulled off the covers and the two main bulbs on each...

    Emblem Clip

Does anyone know what the exact part number is for the clip that holds on the "Toyota Supra" emblem? And does Toyota still sell the clip? I put in the part number found in this diagram onto Toyota parts zone, but it comes up with some headlight cleaner clip... I'm finally going to get an...

    Electric Cooling Fan Installation

Yea I thought the stock fan shroud was more expensive than it is..but the open holes on the drivers side of the shroud won't have a fan to pull air through. I believe those were for the a/c and I got rid of the a/c a while ago. Those little fans weren't even working either so...I guess what I'm...

    Electric Cooling Fan Installation

The radiator is only about a year old. Fins are not damaged, dirty, or anything like that. I even got rid of the a/c condenser so it's got direct airflow from the front of the car now. Thermostat was replaced at the same time but it was then replaced again later on because it failed and wouldn't...

    Electric Cooling Fan Installation

I just bought an aluminum fan shroud for my 7mge. It's never had a fan shroud (even the stock one) for the year and a half that I've owned it. When going from cruising at 75mph on the freeway to being stuck in Chicago traffic in a matter of minutes, the engine heats up because there's no shroud...

    KYB GR-2 shocks

Hey guys, question for you who might have experience with KYB Gr-2 gas shocks. Would these shocks be upgraded enough to be paired with Suspension Technique Lowering Springs?
