It happened again. As expected, disconnecting charcoal cannister hose made no difference. By the time I moved on to next test, it started so I'll have to wait for next occurrence. Any other ideas anyone?

Next time it happens, I'll pull the hose to the evap cannister just to see if that makes a difference. If not, I'll keep going. Thanks again

thanks for the explanation, oldskoolturbo. That may explain why I'm seeing a higher temperature. I did not change the condensor. Any thoughts on adding extra freon to compensate for efficiency?

Do you know how much freon you have in there? I used the spec amount which was .6KG or appx 1.4 lb. I read somewhere that r134a is not as efficient as r12 so using some extra (1/2 lb) might get the temp colder. I'm hesitant to add more since I'm concerned about rupturing any seals. thanks

Thanks. Don't know what I was thinking. It looked like there was something missing on the dash front nearer to the center but I found some pictures on the web and you're right. I see no emblem.

Does anybody know where I can get the little supra emblem that sits on the front of the right side of the dash above the glove box? I'm restoring an 86.5 and I think I remember an emblem over there. Getting close.... thanks

Is there a seal for the rack inside of the rack and pinion boot on the passenger side? Could that leak and spill transmission fluid through the boot?

Can you believe it? I checked a power steering leak out myself and it looked like it was coming from the pump. I even brought it in to a mechanic who confirmed it. So, I spend a few hours and install the new pump today only to find it still leaking after I'm done. I now find the pass side rack...
