Question for a basic rebuild
Been there (bookmarked) and can't find what I'm looking for. Good walkthroughs, but lacking specs from what I've seen. It mentioned going to 72ft/lbs instead of OEM spec on the headbolts, but I need more. Thanks for the suggestion. If you know specifically where in that index I can find what...- supradragontoy

Question for a basic rebuild
On the note of rebuilding the motor...does anyone know a definitive source for 7mge torque specs and bolt lengths and locations? My motor has been rebuilt, probably not too terribly long ago. Whoever did it before left a few bolts out, used some that were too long, some too short and others...- supradragontoy

head gasket
Your right. You would have to use a headgasket with .050 over bores. If your planning to run a MHG, take it to a machine shop and have them mill it to match your deck. The machine shop you had your block bored at should be able to help you out.- supradragontoy
