    LS1 Supra Swap

Actually, I'm still pretending the stock one will work. Got something in mind? Lol.

    LS1 Supra Swap

Thanks, hah, I'm actually tired of seeing it, myself. Hoping to have it out of the garage this weekend. Today, I made an offer on some tranny adapter stuff, hopefully will hear back soon on that. Posted a bunch of the junk I pulled off the camaro on craigslist for sale, we'll see how...

Haha, good times. Be sure to leave out the part that it's a wrecked 2000 camaro.

    LS1 Supra Swap

Dang, man. Sounds like a busy time for you as well! Finally got my pictures sorted out. Here we go, that's where I was sitting when I made the final cut. And my partner in crime with me. Haha, we couldn't stop joking around about calling it a chop shop:

    LS1 Supra Swap

Welcome aboard, I'll try to keep everyone entertained with lots of pictures as soon as I can. Just been super busy with school and work and cutting camaros in half.

    LS1 Supra Swap

Sweet, wow, this is so much simpler and easier than trying to use the BS that Advance Adapters wanted me to use. They had a full bellhousing, and were trying to dick me around into depending on them for all my clutch, pressure plate, and throw-out pieces with their jacked up prices, not to...

    LS1 Supra Swap

Does anyone know where I can find one of those adapters? I'm not seeing any. The best thing I could find was a $450 bellhousing, and then after all the manufacturer specific stuff to make that bellhousing work, it ends up being almost $900, at that rate, I might as well take advantage of the...

    LS1 Supra Swap

Cool, that's about what I figured. Thanks. I cut the camaro in half today, mostly for fun, partially so it's easier to dispose of. I am pretty sure I have decided to keep the R154, which is funny, because I was pretty adamant about getting rid of it. I may even pick up the lower (higher...

    LS1 Supra Swap

Anyone know what a 7M should sell for with wiring harness and ECM with a blown head gasket? I'd rather the person I sell it to know what they're buying.

    LS1 Supra Swap

Hmmm, I didn't know that, but it wouldn't surprise me. At the very least, the bellhousings are different.

    LS1 Supra Swap

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I'm down for other options, but a T56 seems like the best route to me so far. Getting one built to viper specs seems a bit expensive, any links to a parts kit for that so I can get an idea of how much that would cost?

    LS1 Supra Swap

Not sure what info you're saying is incorrect, I was just guesstimating the RPMs that I would be getting. But the RPMS I got with the supra tranny and rear end were terrible. I mean, yeah, it was hella fast on the highway, but I don't need high RPMs to be fast on the highway with the LS1...

    LS1 Supra Swap

The gear ratios would never work on an LS1 with the rear end gears and the R154 on the supra. I'm hoping to actually get some gas mileage out of this LS1, so I'm hoping to spin lower RPMs like 2500 or something less than the 3200-3500 RPMS that the supra runs on the highway. I personally...

    LS1 Supra Swap

Cool, glad to have some followers. Just noticed I forgot pics of the LS1 I pulled out of the camaro. I'm still looking for a T56 and pulling apart that camaro. I think I'm going to cut it in half, maybe even quarters to get it out of the garage and so I can keep all the wheels and junk.

    LS1 Supra Swap

I guess this weekend I just wasn't meant to accomplish anything, lol. I had some work to do around the apartment and never got out to the garage. Oh well, there's always next weekend.

    LS1 Supra Swap

Partied out by the car rather than doing any work yesterday, but hopefully I can make up for that tomorrow by getting some actual work done, maybe finish taking the 7M out of the supra or something. I'll try to get some more pics up soon. It's sounding more and more like I will be going...

    LS1 Supra Swap

$250 for an unassembled kit, an assembled kit runs $350. I am leaning more towards HP Tuners, especially if I can get a buddy to split it with me. It tunes 8 cars, I'm only ever going to use it on one car. We'll see! Some pics:

    LS1 Supra Swap

Hmm. That does sound appealing, although, the cost of the HP Tuners setup is several times more expensive than a megasquirt kit. I am definitely going to consider it, though, it does seem like it would be a much easier setup.

Hmm. I hadn't heard that. In that case, I will hold on to the ECU in case I decide to try to use it instead. I hope to get some pictures up of everything this weekend.
