Well damn, i thought I had everything done now I have a code 31 (AFM signal) I cleared all the other codes but this one comes back. Should I ground the AFM? How do I check the AFM?
I thought my timing light was broken until I tried it on my other supra. The tach in the car stopped working the exact same time the CEL stopped working. It looks like I have finally got all the wires on the harness right but no tach signal or cel signal. Any ideas?

I can't get the CEL to come on with diagnostics or when the ignition is on. I went through the harness and everything appeard to be in order. Is it common that these ECU's go bad? ANy way to test it?

I'm working on a 87T for a guy. The car was brought to me with no plumbing done on the intake. I hooked up all the pipes and vacuum hoses, set the CPS properly, set the timing etc... The car fires right up every time and idles perfect. When i give it gas it seems to have slow response and chokes...

Actually I was thinking along the lines of cooling after shutdown as encomiast stated but also to free up some HP. This has been dyno proven on dozens of different cars to free up a minimum of 10-12Hp
1: Check compression
2: Check for Vacuum leaks
3: Check your timing
4: Check your fuel pressure
5: Check your timing again.
6: Check for spark
7: change your rotor button, cap, plugs and wires.
The biggest problem diagnosing a car is denial.
