Agreed. When I first started modifiying Supras we were using the walbro because it was cheap and easy. Now that there are other options out there - it is better to get quality parts rather than what's cheap and widely used.

This was the initial tune of the motor without the HKS Cams (not installed) and with 550cc injectors/Walbro Fuel Pump...essentially we were trying to make sure it ran. Anyway, computer control system is Autronic SM2 with MSD Dis-4 - Dual post coils etc etc etc Built motor. Nothing special...

Contemplated the same thing. Not sure I want to have a protruding fuel peice on the bottom of my car. I take the car road racing as well as drag racing - and the car with the new suspension is low. What outboard fuel pumps are the most reliable for this amount of horsepower?
