The BIC mounts bolt into place on the block and allow you to use your 86-88 mounts. That way you dount have to swap the crossmember to an 89+ and use the 89+ mounts or worse yet weld some weird mount onto the crossmember.

1jz manual trans IS the same as the 7mgte trans, just uses different flywheels and a different bellhousing. I cant speak from experience on the BIC mounts but everthing I have heard about them is positive. Plus if you use those and decide to go with an aftermarket Y pipe you dont need to...

I think you can use the MK4 N/A bellhousing with your w58, but I would just get an r154 and the 1jz 5spd bellhousing. You will also need a turbo drive shaft if you upgrade to the r154. As far as the wiring goes I believe you just wire it as a 5spd leaving the auto wiring out.

Thanks Brent, I have the sensor, but its not an issue so its not pictured. The sensor is bundled with the green, gray, and brown but is seperate from those wires...Still leaves me wondering what those wires are for?? (for reference the sensor uses a white, yellow, and pink wire)

I feel kinda stupid posting this up, but after calling HKS and searching the web I have come up with nothing. Any one know how this boost gauge is supposed to be wired in? I would have figured 2 powers and a ground, but theres more going on that I anticipated.

Yeah I heard the leake easly so I used the tension spring from the old one on the new one as well as added some silicone to the outside edge. There was a good writeup on it on a mk4 site...

cormschr, can you post a pic of your bracket? I just tryed out Jose's one hole stock bracket thing and it looks like it would work fine, but im down for making a new bracket too.

Alright I played with the routing of my mk4 throttle cable and it seems to fit better now, bit I still would rather have a good condition jza70 cable. I think its only an issue because the mk4 is really just abour 1" too short, but I does work, its just tight. I was goign to make my own bracket...

Power steering = driftmotion or Napa And dont get a mk4 cable, mine doesnt fit well at all.
