So my engine has the extra ribs, so that means it was made from either 90-92?

I know that the ecu is from an 88, i looked up the number, but that doesn't mean the engine is.

I have a 86.5 supra with a 7mgte that was put in 2 owners ago. Is it possible to know what year the engine was made or what year of supra it came out of? I found the engine serial number but I don't know how to read it. Do the serial numbers even contain the year?

Hello, I recently bought a supra and I am in the process of fixing it up. It is a 86.5 with a 7MGTE swap that was done by the previous owner. So far iv been having a great time with it, and I am very excited to have joined these forums and I hope to learn as much as I can about these great cars.
