i was looking at this engine kit for my 7mge. im rebuilding and i was wondering if anybody has had any expierence with this kit. if its foney or if its reliable. im just rebuilding to stock power. no racing power. daily driving hopefully.lol...
nice to know. thanks cuz i was looking at these ebay clutches and for now i want to put in something that will hold some extra boost but still run something close to stock at the sametime.
im looking to buy this 88 turbo targa from a local for $800. claims that his friend worked on it who is a mechanic for a toyota dealership. headgasket was replaced, no leaks, says that engine is in PERFECT running condition. heres the thing....needs a new or rebuilt tranny. now i have an 88 n/a...

very useful info. i plan on just building the motor to be reliable.something that will still go for another 10 yrs. im not looking to make a whole lot of power out of it. i'll just do some minor upgrades like k&n intake, new exhaust, maybe in the future new headers. but as far as a racing motor...

Go to advance auto parts and you can do thier "loan a tool" service. they have the clamp shape compressor tool which is best for the 7m head. you pay $50 and they give you 45 days to use it. bring it back and they give you your money back. simple
