I had the same issue with my swap. No need to buy anything at all. All you have to do is cut a resitor out from the back of the tach and solder in a wire in its place. Works absolutely perfectly. Do a little digging on goole and what not, if i can find the info you can also.

Dont worry about it. Mine shook under 25 mph for 5 years. If it does snap its not that hard to replace.
