    Weird wiring problem

positive. gauges all work, dome fuse is good as well little update. the grounds do NOT go to ground, SO, my relay is backfeeding rather than going to ground. i have to have a cut line somewhere. 0ohms between the grounds (heater and power main) but OL between either ground and the ground.

    The Small Questions Thread

horribly stupid question, but ive been chasing this (along with electrical) for awhile. the power steering pressure line, where SHOULD that key fit? is there some sort of alignment? new power steering pump, and only have a touch of power steering. flushed full system once, might have to try again.

    Weird wiring problem

heaver valve is good, moves freely, all the doors work, the motor is free and works, blower motor resistors are all good. heater cb is good, heater relay is good, power cb is good, power main relay is good. the ground at j/b no 1 set bolt has no 12v, but the ground at the power main relay shows...

    Weird wiring problem

Typically I'm pretty good at figuring out wiring. But this has me launching random sockets across my garage. my Windows, seat, and heater control don't work. I can jumper the power main relay and get my Windows and seat to work. That led me to believe the relay was bad. Tested out fine, checked...

a few questions on my SAFC2 install

if the car is a grey plug USDM use the 89+ wiring diagram, if its a yellow plug USDM use the 87-88 wiring diagram. you would know if you owned a turbo A. if you have an AFM, you have a standard supra. so if its yellow plug, use the t2-b diagram, grey plug use the t5-a. if its not a turbo A...

O'Reilly Auto Parts no longer carrying brake pads

i had to fight with an oreilly employee for plugs for my jeep "um, there is no such thing as a 6 cylinder wrangler"... so i walk outside, grab my owners manual and point it out to him "nope those were only overseas, i know this because i have a jeep" i walk out and its a dodge nitro thing that...

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

it was a fun one to "play" in. no idea the car was in there till we got to that side of the garage, kept the fuel tank cool enough that we didnt have any fireworks. my gear stunk like burnt rubber for the better part of a year

LE better have wrote her a hefty ticket, and her insurance should know that its time to bend over. We had a guy roll a burn barrel (trash barrel) that was "out" into his rented garage. He rented 1 bay. Burn barrel wasnt out, lit the entire garage on fire and melted a nice IMCA modified car down...

have you checked your IAC unit? if its not moving freely it could stall. mine was filled with carbon, pulled it apart and cleaned it and idle smoothed out nicely and yeah, recalibrate the TPS

Progress... if you can call it that

i do find that odd. ive read through a good bunch of the build threads on here and HG failure near the 5/6 cylinders seems to be the most common. the back cylinders are the hottest on almost all straight 6 motors ive dealt with (my 4.0l in my jeep, the 300 in my brothers ford...) i need to get a...

Progress... if you can call it that

i know how that goes. and the head is getting pulled no matter what, OEM vs MHG will be determined by how the block and the head look. if there is anything even suspect ill run it down to a buddy of mine and will get it done right.

Progress... if you can call it that

we'll start this thread in april of 2011, i was just finishing up college, and i saw a doo doo brown MK3 up near the college i attended. it was an automatic non turbo and the uh "propietario" 1 couldnt speak a touch of english, and 2 had no idea what OIL was. it was overpriced by around 3000...

my dad raced dirt oval stock cars back when i was little, he raced the friday/saturday night before my brother was born (sunday round noon), moms got pictures all over of my dad and i in the race care, around the race car, at the track, but she still says she "hates racing".
