They are way lighter than a 240. Here is a pic of the shell of the one I did.

The guy I did the 510 for is doin a SR in his. A 1j would be overkill in a 510. there isnt much room in the engine bay of one of those also.

Ya I really have a 1J. Its sitting at a shop in Burnsville MN. I got it for restoring a shop owners 71 Datsun 510. I just have to go and pick it up. I an hour north of Minneapolis MN.

I am building the car for street and drift. I am not 100% on how I am goin to build this. I think I am just goin to wing it and see how it turns out. Here is something to think about... More work this weekend. I plan on painting the engine bay and maybe bedline the inside.
