i have figured out why my ecu doesn't work. there is a burnt out circuit on it. and it must be the ground for the m-rel and the turn on for the ecu.
i am really glad a buddy of mine is an eletrical engineer and can fix it for me. hopefully tommorow she lives
i think both of those have to do with the heat system. one goes to the inside temo sensor and i think the other goes to the relay box that goes on the crossbar. i don't know what it is for but a small black box attaches to the white plug. oh i think it is the ac magnate
anyone know why with the ignition switch on, i only get .07 v at the b and b+ pins. i get 12 volt at the batt and ig sw. when i jump the w and e1 the mil(cel) comes on, but when connected to the ecu nothing. trying to figure out which wire closes the efi relay. and if that is the wire that turns...
hey kotu100 i have ruled out a bunch of stuff. i think i freid my ecu and it was only working in backup mode. no i get nothing but everything before and afterecu looks good. wondering i can borrow your spare ecu to test and see if it is the ecu or a wiring issue. would like to set something up...
nah it wasn't raining when i posted but my supra is at a buddy's shop. i think i fried the ecu a long time ago i had forgotten that my cousin was helping to start my parts car and hooked the battery backwards. and with no fusible link . the 100a fuse was cooked and i thought that the ecu is...
i have replaced every fuse and relay in the car. So i am thinking that it has something to do with the wiring between the battery and the fuse block. i am going to check it out the next weekday that it isn't rainy.
i am fairly certain that an inline fuse in the culpruit here.
i know that the bulb is good just replaced all the bulbs in the cluster. i have no power doors locks. i have the taillamp failur light. no cel.
my clutch start switch has been run directly to the starter i have removed the factory alarm and grounded the blue orange wire.

i am having this same problem. no power to the black red wire at the fuse box under the hood. some reason the door controls and the supra won't start. baffling me too
are all the keys the same on an 87 supra. i have lost my key and have the trunk lock out of the car. can i get a key made fr the trunk that will unlock the steering column
dash is in doors are done. comibnation meter all set to go in the car now i just have to find the right key. after swapping steering columns i realize4d i have no idea where the key is. gonna have to find a locksmith and have one made
what kind of numbers am i looking for. not quite sure how a leakdown test works. does it test the amount of compression at tdc and the amount of compression that bleeds out somewhere
in ign switch in the 87 is compresed of totaly different wire colored so i am guess they ae different also the wiper controls and the steering wheel are different since the 90 has an aurbag and the 87 doesn't
. going now to button the fendwer wells after swapping over the entire 87...
