Yup....went nylon to the back for vent,fuel and return...just 100 times easier to work with compared to steel !..also changed to a gm/ford style filter with quick connects at the filter..also way easier than the banjo setup.I re-used the m14 female nut from the old rear rubber line and "hot"...
K..will keep that in mind...won't start at these temps if the injector isn't working?...i see where some guys are putting ether in the pipe but i would think thats a last option and i wouldn't recommend ether in any gas engine.
After replacing a crusty coffee ground tank,sender,fuel pump and lines i still have a no start ..hear the hiss? or fule on the pump test...spark at #1 when turned over.power at injectors but haven't checked for pulse yet.Anything obvious i should check first?..power to the brown wire at...
Thanks man..think i saw a couple pics with a horn there.......still not starting tho....will check # of injector resistor i got...maybe the wrong one or a jdm.
New tank in,pump,filter ,gas etc...cranks over but won't start..Have spark,hear fuel with fp and b+ bipass.Power at injectors with key on..will check for pulse next..My problem is that it looks kike i'm missing a harness or relay near the brake booster.In the pictures there is a two wire plug...
Soooo finally got the tank back up..new fuel,pump,filter..etc...This thing had an alpine alarm installed which i am going to try and uninstall...Before i search what's the usual way to check for spark on an 88 turbo?
Got my new(used) western tank , hanger assembly...there are 2 blue wires and 1 ground on the hanger.1 blue just goes to a resistor? on the backside of the bracket..My car is an 88,,,think hanger is 90 up?Can i use a walbro 255 and just use 2 wires?...should i stick with stock till i get it...
About to fire 7mgte up after storage for as much as 10 years indoors..turbo does spin but is stiff...is this thing going to loosen up once the oil's flowing or should i pull it now and free it up on the workbench?
Working on resurrecting a stock 88 7mgte...car was in storage for 5 or 6 years inside..Have a new accordion hose coming so removed the old one.Checked the turbo for shaft play..looks good ...but it was a little stiff to turn getting looser the more i spin.Question is ....is the oil/bearing just...
