Yeah I don't have a build thread cuz I slid on some ice and hit a telephone pole less than a week after I purchased the car. D:

You know that metal latch that's attached to the inside of the glove box with screws? I just pried the glove box open slightly with a crowbar so i could see inside of it, and then stuck a hacksaw blade inside and cut it off. I can easily get a replacement from another car and screw it in so its...
I just ended up cutting the latch screwed to the dash. No big deal I can just get another one.
LMAO how true! Along with the manual and maintenance records, I found a bunch of other shit. A stuffed bear, 2 pears of eyeglasses, and a ratty old handkerchief! :puke:
Anyone have any suggestions on performance parts I should install while the car is being rebuilt? Or should I just focus on restoring the car to it's stock form first?
Yeah that's probably what I'm gonna end up doing. My neighbor owns a salvage yard so he could probably help me with some of the repairs and assist me in obtaining parts, so that's a plus. And yeah this is a good time to learn. :D
I definitely want to fix it up if I can; the interior is immaculate and the body is also in very good shape other than where I hit the pole. The only thing is it won't be worth as much now because of the frame damage. And they offered me $2,326 but I'm going to see if I can get more out of it.
