Been a while. As a season ender ill give a quick update
Turned up the boost. Wastegate spring was only putting out about 7psi at most

Running in the 12-13 range, never spiked past 13
Having syncro issues 2-3, so...
Those 18x10 +11 will sit very snug in the rear. I've seen 18x10 +10 done with a lot of fender roll and pull, pretty small tire, and not extremely low. Make for an angry stance though IF you can pull it off.
Also for what its worth I BELIEVE that some later model mk3 supra's have a slightly...
Depends how low the car is but without a roll in the rear i think you might be too close to the guard. And I think the front would be close but the little plastic bulge on the inner fender might rub. Let me know if you do though. Looking at a very similar setup only with 18" instead of 17"
Ordered a new clutch. Going to try the ACT HD with the street disk. Which should be good for enough power my little hx35 will ever be able to put out. Fingers crossed that this clutch isn't an ass like the 6 puck. Next will be boost controller and some suspension goodies I've had since last...
Wow... Well that's a relief to hear you say that because i gave up and ordered a new clutch hahaha. Funny thing is my Dad said that's exactly what would happen if i kept the clutch, good thing i trusted him on this one. Thanks!
for the bov you can just buy silicone coupler (hoses) that have the flange already in them, Or you can also buy the pipe with the flange already welded in, I'm just using one bov. don't know why you would need two. My 40$ driftmotion Greddy RS Rep does the job just fine and sounds pretty bad...

Trying to be nice on it till I get a new clutch. Passenger window isn't rolled down (so it could be louder), 10psi. From a little car meet we had yesterday. Car is working great and pulling hard but just wish i could bang through gears and push it a...
Ohh man that makes it easy. Should mount right in too. Soarer engine mounts sit really high. From what i Remember i did not use all the vacuum line's but mine is single turbo so it will be a bit different. You might want to look into a Vacuum manifold...
Removing the power steering cooler hasnt given me any problems. It doesnt look all that efficient in the first place, simplifies the swap too since the 1jz power steering is on the opposite side. Some may disagree but i drove it in +30C yesterday for a solid cruise around town and had no...
I know there is a "black cooler thing" in front of the rad for the power steering. I got rid of mine... but since you wont be running ps then whatever. I kept the stock 1jz oil cooler though some don't. Also threw out the carbon can on my swap. I also got rid of the old fuel pump relay and ran...
Hey everyone!
I'm using an Act extreme 6 puck and its seem's everyone but me really like's these clutches and find them fine to drive. My Dad whom has built multiple stick car drag camaro's said its the worst clutch he's ever drove... Something going on here? The disk is sprung yet it engages...
In need of some solid aluminum 1jz engine mounts 89+ if anyone has some or (if someone who's made them) can make some. pm me, need some as soon as possible
If you have any questions about the swap let me know. I just finished my 1jz and I ran into a few problems myself, so might be able to save you some trouble. Good luck! Trust me the outcome is very worth it ;)
New aluminum rad, electric fan, steering rack, and tie rod ends. Went for a rip and the clutch stuck to the floor a couple times. Thinking something with the clutch master is defect. Should have a new one coming in today then hopefully i can get some more videos up with the new exhaust for you...
Radiator carnage time!
Fan stayed intact (though soaked in coolant), just the shroud and rad got worked. Was a mess to clean up but hopefully i'm picking up a new rad tonight
Could have been worst :biglaugh:
