If that tach is reading properly that means hes reving it to 8000RPM. is that even possible with that motor? (EDIT) I went and did a little research and saw that this is a short stroke motor, which leads me to believe that they can be a high revving motor.

Good call, I will check tonight. I replaced the plugs when I first got the motor running again. The only thing about the downpipe is that the turbos smoked before hand and I did not clean out the inside of the downpipe.

The turbos have no more then 600km, I highly doubt that they are causing an issue. BlaastPerformance is a reputable turbo rebuild shop. If I were to find oil in the IC pipes do you figure this would be blow by through the PCV system? Turbo seals?

Slight change in subject, but still relevant. Does anyone run solid bushings? like the ones made by beech performance? I have obtained a set and was thinking about installing them, but to be honest I am afraid they will be to harsh and allow for to much road noise to be echo'ed through the car.
