I did something very similar to a ACT 6-puck clutch a year ago. Slipped it to hard on the drag radials and melted the clutch pretty good. It didn't look as bad as your does though. Hopefully this new setup does what you need it to. I moved onto a Spec twin plate and havent been able to put it to...
Completely agree with this ^^^^^
Tie rod ends can also make this noise. I have personally seen it a few times before. They can also make this noise and not even be loose yet.
do you have a proper engine hoist with a leveling tool?

If you plan to remove the trans with engine(I have found to be the easiest way to do this.)this will make your life a whole lot easier.

Read through that thread. There is life times worth of information, more then you will need.
There are a few things you can do.
1: Take a video of the car making the noise and post it here. Someone is bound to see it and hopefully help you out. If you go that route, please use a good quality camera.
2: Take it to a local shop and have them take a listen. Any qualified automotive tech...
This is an AWFUL idea and could end very badly. When you cut a spring it will not longer sit in its seat properly.
Save your self alot of trouble and headaches by saving the money to buy the proper parts. I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS!
This is the best way to check for play in any steering component.
With the wheel off the ground you will get less resistance and thus not give you 100% accurate inspection.
That tire wear can be caused by a few things. First off I would assume that toe would be out, like previously...
Agreed, or possibly loose. If they were loose the bracket would wiggle back and forth and slowly wear at the bolts. All things considered, over-torqued is more likely as this would give more of a shearing affect over what loose bolts would give you.
Just got the car up and running this year. No numbers or anything yet as I still need to put together a fuel system to feed this beast.

Brian Crower 264 cam with Brian Crower valve springs and retainers. Also a mild port/polish on the exhaust ports.
Just because I was too...
The wastegate may not exactly be completely open. The seat where the gate sits could be worn out. This would not allow the gate to seal properly. I would be checking this first off.
I also purchased this Clutch for my 1jz. Hopefully will be driving it in 2-3 weeks. If I can remember I will give you an idea of what its like to drive. Should be quite a bit different then the old single disc I was running before with stock steel flywheel.
That engine looks insanely clean and super low mileage judging by the look of the camshafts.
$2900 well spent if you ask me. Good luck with the 1jz, I gave up on the 7M before I even bought my car hahaha.
That brings me to the end of that winter and into the summer of 2011. The summer only brought me about 900km of driving. I then cooked the clutch, literally COOKED it haha. So I pulled the engine and transmission once again and found this........
In the picture you can see a fairly large...
I also decided that deleting the ABS system was something I wanted to do. I removed all the lines in the engine bay going to the front calipers and going to the ABS module and built my own. I also installed an adjustable proportioning valve.
Along with the new twins I wanted something else...
