yea i read up thats how to get more steering angle....
what do u mean by steering linkage going over the center?
can i just grind part of the bolt off so i get a little bit of angle without causing damage to other parts?
are there any aftermarket inner tie rods for mk3's?
or do inner tie rods from other cars work?
my mk3 tie rods ran out of threads,and need more so my alignment is within specs
(my tie rods are maxed out due to installing inner tie rod spacers)
i found the problem,the two big bolts in back of the tranny that center the shifter in place were backed out so i tightened them and put the stock shifter back on, and no more problems
i think i fixed the problem, i took off the radiator cap and heard a lot of air escape and the let the car run for a while with the cap off and topped off the coolant the problem was probably an air pocket, and radiator was low on coolant problem hasnt occurred since =]
i installed inner steering rack spacers and did my alignment and when i was adjusting the passenger side toe adjustment the inner tie rod is maxed out!! and the driver side still has threads
how can i fix this? do i need aftermarket inner tie rods or aftermarket outer rods?

lately my tranny (r154) has been popping out of 5th gear and i had it rebuilt about 6 months ago
it will only go in sometimes, could it be the short shifter ?
ive had the short shifter for a while and it was fine before but all of a sudden its been popping out
the coolant temp gauge on my dash stopped working....
i noticed the wire broke inside the connector, and the coolant temp sensor sender no longer was good
so, i replaced the sensor with a new one from toyota and replaced the connector with a spade connector and soldered it together, but still...
