I went to a local drive shaft maker. I asked about carbon fiber. he said that they are weaker then steal. I was like no way. then he showed me 3 that he just got in off a Titan? that were snapped. He said get steel if you want it to be strong. aluminum is weaker.. .

I third this. i think that carbonfiber will never rust so it will be a perminate fix. lol

so my 87 supra 5 speed targa needs a new bearing. whats my best option. i was thinking steal one peace. i think that a one peace aluminum may not be as strong. what have you guys have good luck with?

Yea i think it is either valve seals or sour injectors. i am going to see if it clears up.

i bought my car and it had that problem. needed a fuel filter. although i replaced the new pump anyway. lol if i were you i would drop a walbro in and a new fuel filter. its a pita.

that being said that is making my 2jz swap more and more do able. Does anyone make a wireing harness to convert the 7mgte to a 2jzgte? or will the stock harness work? in 87?. how difficult is the wiring is there wiring diagrams on line somewere..?
