sounds about right, I did remove the tps while i was working on the car and fucked with it
Thanks,
Would it be safe do drive with just the DP for now? I am in the middle of making an exhaust but need to move the car.
As stated in the title. The car had been started after 2 years, in that time I did some wiring and routed new hoses along with other work (clutch, fuse box relocation etc).
Started the car today and it immediately started revving to 2k then back down again, continuously. Any ideas what could...
When I measued the 1cm stroke the pedal was well past half before it engages. Now there is very little movement before I feel resistance but I have not measued the stroke on the slave cylinder. I will check tomorrow, but I think I have it well now. I just think I have a lot of freeplay and am...
I think I may have been successful in bleeding the clutch without knowing it as I had an improperly installed setup earlier and the r154 in the soarer has an stiff pressure plate and 6 puck. I just don't remember how a stock r154 in good nick feels.
Is 1cm of movement in the slave normal?
Hey all,
I just did a clutch job and replaced the master, slave and lines with a hard line. Using the procedure in the tsrm to bleed the clutch. I tried with the top off and on on the master cylinder but only made a difference with it off.
pump the clutch, hold it down then open the...
Does anyone have a pinout for the mkiii fusebox or routing diagram. I am attempting to replace the wiring from the battery to the fusebox and fusebox to alternator with higher gauge while keeping it clean and using stock fuse box.
Thanks,
Hey,
I know this is a silly question, but I am gonna need to buy a new socket to take it out safely, and dont want to buy the wrong one. What size socket is needed to take off the knock sensor?
Thanks,
Hey guys,
thanks for the help, after a long battle I was able to remove the transmission, not a bad job all in all if you have a helper. Now to find out whats wrong with it...
its the upper bolt that I have not removed, but the starter has been removed from the bracket holding it together. Do I need to remove that top bolt?
ah what i did was i removed the insides of the starter from the housing... I guess I will have to go and remove the housing. I have no idea...
Everything else had already been done (I left out the obvious things)

so that includes the bracket?
Hey guys,
I can not seperate the transmission free from the engine.
I have done the following:
- removed all 6 pressure plate bolts
- removed the release fork
- removed 8 bellhousing bolts (I don't think there are any more)
- removed the starter (but not the bracket, one of the bolts on the...
Hey Seth, just a question. Are the wastegates going to be controlled seperately? or will they open and close at the same time with the same boost controller?
taken from that link: "the input motor's power would be transmitted to the wheels, where it would meet resistance under load. That load would then be passed back through the gears to the weakest point - which would be the engine driving the control shaft, if it wasn't up to the job."
I am also...
exactly what crossed my mind.
Also, the design for high power applications would need much bigger gears (obviously), from the looks of it, that would lead to a much taller transmission then whats out there today.
