Actually, it will probably have less "clearance" issues than the V12. . . the V12 is DOHC i.e. wide . . . push rod motors are awesome by way of overall size. Why do you think Chevy went from pushrod to DOHC back to push rod? Weight/Size and of course the capacity for old skool tuners to buy...

I have a friend that was trying to use 2J piston rings. This is what he found . . . He said that only one ring fit or something. All I know is that they don't fit and you should not open your 1J unless it is absolutely necessary cuz 1J piston rings are super hard to come by . .. werd Cheers...
