SOLVED What is this thing do? I took it off on my supra when I did my 2j swap and was wondering if this could be my problem why I'm feeling heat in the car W/O the heater on... Here is an attachment showing what I am talking about..

Thanks man, yea I was wondering that too about the throttle points. It just didn't make sense so I just somewhat ignored it. I saw on a post here to use 68/69 for throttle points but yea. I'm running 550cc off of the USDM 2j supra, and thanks again for confirming that for me..

I came across this page on how to setup the A'pexi safc and I know on the Jdm 2j it uses a map sensor instead of Maf so I have it set to pressure. Now when it comes to TH point, graph scale and NE point are they the same? Just want to confirm this, thanks A'PEXi S-AFC Installation...

ok, well I put 10w30 and it seemed to have made it quieter. Was told 10w30 was what the spec was on the 2j.. Well thanks again. I'll keep an eye on it then see if it gets worse or not.

check your radiator cap. If the rubber gasket is cracked or brittle it will cause you to overheat.. Make sure its a 14/16 psi cap as well. Hope that helps

Isn't that to check to see if the injectors are firing? It doesn't tap on idle just when you rev up and hold it and on cold starts.. But I'll check it anyway to see if it changes.

ok I'll check again for exhaust leaks, If its a simple valve tick should I be worried about it? I put an extension on the head to listen it all seems normal on the valve cover. It is just as loud as the injectors if that help as a similarity...

Yep, Thanks man. That was a piece of cake really. way better than taking stuff apart in the engine bay to get the motor out. Especially having to deal with all the power steering fluid, gear oil, etc that's going to leak out when pulling it...
