god. this is so much of a reason why i need to get a second car for daily driving.
i want to pull the entire car apart and rebuilt it from the ground up & replace every single little hose to silicone & stuff....
i just need a second car to drive while doing it :(
currently, i have a shitload of leaks on my car.
Right on the oil pan, i think it needs to be reseal.
also my transmission is leaking at the shifter & driveshaft hole.
how do i fix em?? :(
how much do you think it'll cost to have someone say.....
take the engine & tranny out and...
ugh. it's not cheaper :(. i just checked their website.
Starter for 1990 turbo $69.99
Starter for 1992 turbo $144.99
wish i knew this before. the starter is a pain in the ass to take out and put in the way they have the bolt mounted.
also, it's working great for me.
ugh. i've pushed start my car twice in the last 2 days now. is that a sign i need a new starter? :)
anyway, i bought a starter from autozone for $70.
Should i keep it or is it easy to rebuild a starter for $10 and save myself $60?
it's a manual. i also have the clutch override switch hook up so that i don't have to push the clutch in to start it.
what's a starter solenoid & where is it located?
because they blow monkey nuts. eversince they started with all the reform of moderators, rules, filtering of what you can & can't post, & regulations. The forum turn into shit and fuck itself.
is this a sign that it's time for me to get a new starter?
everytime i want to start the car, i have to sit there and try for at least 5 minutes before it even crank.
When i turn the key to "start" position, all i hear is a click and then silence. The engine won't even turn.
If i sit...
but i don't have enough tools to pull the engine. I figured i'm just going to have it on jackstand and do my work from there.
Wouldn't pulling the engine takes a lot more time & harder?
