Do NOT buy from Flashoptions. They have fucked many people over. If you buy a clip it should come with everything that you need to do the swap. Of course this all depends on what exactly is left after somebody pulls the engine out of the car you are buying.

It is 5252rpm but the graph is not setup with equal HP and TQ readings. For example, at the 150hp mark its 200 for torque.

A lot of people say the hydro fan will outflow any electric or crank fan. I don’t have any flow numbers for the hydro, but it is supposed to be very good.

I used the 1JZ throttle cable that came with the clip. All I did was wrap it around the break booster once and connected it to the throttle.

Started it today and drove it. We finished it at about midnight and I’ve been driving it until like 5am. It’s so much fun! The only thing is the tach doesn’t work but we will fix that. Look for some videos soon!

He’s going to start on it tomorrow. He has a 1.5jz in his car right now, just waiting for some intercooler pipes and exhaust so he can drive it. We are shooting for it to all be done and have all the kinks worked out before next weekend for the big NorCal meet on the 23rd.

Whether a 2JZ intercooler will fit in the MkIII or not depends on the size. I believe the widest it can be is about 30”, 12” tall and 4” thick. I’m pretty sure the piping won’t fit though.
