Mine broke apart a few months ago, I went with the fluidampr. Its 1 piece, fit super easy, looks stock and is very nice. Got it from summit too. I got the 2jz-gte pulley and used the normal belt for the 1jz w/ air.

No need to need to get feisty. So if the ds was twisted would it still hum coasting at 5mph? I would think that a twisted shaft would vibrate since it would be off balance but I dont seem to notice any up to 85mph.

I would think id have a broke rear before a twisted DS. DS has about 80k on it and I dont "drop" the clutch so although its possible, I doubt its the shaft. Ill try to make a vid of the noise.

No burning rubber smell. Just the noise.

I made it over 500 miles with my new clutch so I figured what better way to test the grip than to do alittle burnout launch. Grip was good and the air smokey but down the road I noticed when I let of the gas I heard a humming from behind me and when I pushed the clutch in it was a bit louder...

Turns out my disc was in back asswards. The snout goes to the flywheel even though my searches on here said other.:3d_frown: Well now time for the crank pulley tomorrow.

The line was bled and no air was left. I dont recall checkin if anything hits. Trans is comin back out this weekend so got 2 days to sit on it.:cry: As far as adjustment, I thought it self adjusts? Please fill me in on what should be adjusted in case were talkin 2 diff things.

Finished puttin my driveshaft bolts in and figured test time. So I push in the clutch and it wont go in any gear. And it grinds tryin reverse. I checked thorugh the side panel and the fork is engaging. The only tihng I can think of is the pp is in backwards cause the symptoms seam the same...

So who has an ATI or fluidampr w/ no a/c and what belt are you using?

Is that w/ or w/o the a/c?

How is it one guy used the regular belt and another needed a bigger one on the fluidampr? I forgot to mention that my a/c will be coming off since its been unhooked for 5+ years so I dont know if that makes any difference on the belt issue . If it comes down to it, ill buy another belt but if...

Should I get new ones or just use my old ones? Also how do the come out, twist out or push? Figured id ask before I break something.

I found this problem on my car when I changed my clutch last week. If it aint 1 thing its another.

I ordered a stock fw, so just need to figure out a pully and work alot longer.:squirt-mo
