i had a leak in the rear of the car too.i found a few rust holes in the fender well right under the seat belt retractor,(under the trim panel) that the tires were throwing the water in. i sanded patched it with a welder and put under coating over the patch and my problem was fixed.
can anyone help me with this? my cruise control light on the dash comes on but i cant seem to get it to hold any speed. iis there a fuse that will fix it? i figured not since the light works. i drive the highway alot and really need my c/c.
i was told by toyota to unplug the no.1 solinoid and the lockup solinoid to see if it is the wiring,but i forgot to ask where the plegs are. can anyone tell me? there are 3 plugs above the starter, is that them? i dont want to unplug them unless i know if thats them. i think it is cause theres...
on a previous post i stated my upper cable was not working. but know its not that.we took it apart at the union right above th cat and it turns fine. any other suggestions??????????

i know there isnt many mods out there for me to do.but i was wondering what mods are available for the n/a.i would like to have a little more power but cant aford to do a n/a-turbo swap right now.
how much more power does a lexus afm give over a stock one?everyone is getting these but i never really knew why. probably a stupid question but im just gathering as much info as i can
the only code i have is for lockup solinoid in the trans.it shifts through the gears by the time it hits 20 mph.is it pricy or hard to change the solinoid? also the ect button on the shifter doesnt work either.i guess they are linked together.if i need to i shift the car manually,it shifts good...
a buddy of mine had a 240 that did the same thing.his had a cracked flywheel and a bwarped pully.dealer sayed flywheel being bad made the pully go, and if he hadnt got it fixed when he did, severe bottom end damage would have happened. well good luck on finding the problem and getting it fixed
