    Horsepower?

Have the shop make you a test pipe and a high flow cat, then you can swap them when you need to.

Celica Swapped 1JZ - In need of Fuel Pressure Regulator?

I don't think the plug gap would be doing this either, I'm not trying to increase boost, just get it to run. I was suspicious of the TPS since I had taken it off, but after calibrating it to specs I found here it was still the same. What do you mean check to make sure the vacuum is plugged...

What kind of mk3 should I get?

You don't say if your new MK3 is a turbo or not, but I would think a turbo model would be better suited for a turbo swap. From my experience the targas have more chassis flex. I had an 87 turbo hard top, and I just got an 88 NA targa. With the targa top out I can feel the difference in...

Celica Swapped 1JZ - In need of Fuel Pressure Regulator?

I'm trying to get my 1JZ celica running right. When driving, the motor sputters/cuts out if I get on the throttle heavy, and when the boost gets at or near positive PSI. I have been searching SM since Jan and I've tried lots of things that I found here, but haven't solved the problem. It has...

    Hello. 1JZGTE Powered Corolla Here

    Hello. 1JZGTE Powered Corolla Here

Yea, I had to cut off a few inches of the throttle body to weld that 90 degree elbow so it would clear the radiator pipe. It doesn't seem to cause any problem, but I had to cut the coolant fitting off, so I just bypassed the throttle body with the coolant line...

    New '88 NA owner :)

Sweet, another 88 NA! After owning a turbo supra a while ago, driving the NA I just bought feels a little lethargic, but it's always great to be in a Supra. Is yours a targa? I had my top off for the first time a few days ago and it was awesome!!!

    Hello. 1JZGTE Powered Corolla Here

I was gonna say, that looks a lot tighter than my celica, but I did cut out my radiator support to re-mount my radiator a few inches forward. http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss181/Suprafreak13/SR20000010.jpg

Great, another maryland Supra owner! Where are you planning to drift your supra? I'm trying to finish a 1JZ swapped Celica GTS to drift, hopefully I'll get it running right soon and be able to make some events this year....

Is there a trick to pulling the timing belt gear

It will bit you in the ass...When I did my 1JZ timing belt one of the "tits" were bent and I didn't notice. It caught the timing belt and came off the back side of the timing gear. It took me days to figure out why it would get spark so inconsistently, the crank trigger gear would catch now...

    transmission vibrating???

There is no grinding or grumbling at a stand still. Pushing the clutch doesn't change the sound while sitting. There is nothing you can notice while sitting still, until you start to rev slowly, then it feels like something is out of balance, like the flywheel is missing a bolt, or part of the...

    transmission vibrating???

I'm having a similar problem with my 1988 NA 5 Speed Supra...It feels like the carrier bearing bushing is really worn or something. But my car will vibrate when i'm not moving at all, if I slowly rev the engine at a stand still it will start shaking around 2000 rpm. When driving there is...

I'm about an hour north of DC. I would be ready for a maryland meet when the weather breaks.

Thats sweet, i've been wondering if this was possible, I've never seen it before but I thought about it last year.

    New to Supras...

I'm sure when you get the supra running it will leave a lasting impression. But the fun really starts when you go turbo!

    1UZ - W58 Adaptor plate

Looks nice. Is there a need for an adapter plate to mount the hydraulic clutch unit onto the transmission?
