Wow Ij that's nuts that your cam got destroyed. Thanks for your info these arp's will be on their second install same as the gasket but when I inspected and cleaned the head gasket it had a Knick on one of the sealing rings/ edge that faces inside the cylinder. A valve stuck open and obliterated...
Yeah it will be for a different engine and I thought that using the gasket would be a good idea but it has flourine coating on it and some parts of it came off and makes me nervous using it. Thanks for the input
Ive got arp head and main studs and HKS stopper head gasket from an engine that bent some valves. Question is are any of these reusable? Thanks in advance.
I saw you have a w58? So my guess is you only have as much horse power as the tranny can handle before exploding!?... So what's that? 400 at the crank? Seriously though I wonder what kinda power you're gonna put down after the tune I'm excited to see!
Wow!!! I wonder where his FLUX CAPACITOR is!?!?! Lol sorry I'm sure non of you guys think that's funny it's just that my brother in-law thinks my supra look like a DeLorean and well after seeing that guys interior that's the first thing that popped into my head.
LMFAO!!!! I second that! I just finished my second build on the same engine cause I used an HKS 1.3mm bead type head gasket on my 7mgte and thought "I should be good I'm within spec on the tsrm and my head machined...." NOPE! Dead wrong leaked compression on cylinders 2,3, and 4 wish I was on...
Finally finished up my engine bay and got my project of 5 and a half years up and running and I'm putting on the last vacuum hose today time for in-engine time!!!!!
Lol that makes me want to get a credit card
When the guys at autozone lost count of how many times you got the 20 dollar in-store credit for the rewards card
Wouldn't kerosene or diesel eat up a paper filter like your average oil filter? This is all new to me that's crazy to think diesel can clean your engine lol. I wonder if it would still be cheaper to buy the flush additive instead of buying diesel with these gas prices nowa days
That's an awesome link! Aftermarket is always better but don't forget even though aftermarket is better if your aftermarket inter cooler is too big you'll get psi drop by a pound or two
