    half a bhg?

I had that. Waterfall noise for a year and it never overheated or had the mixing of any fluids. I finally got fed up with the noise and decided to change the hg; and that fixed it. Turns out only one of the coolant passages on #6 decided to go, so that allowed combustion pressures to get...

I just ended up disabling mine cause I couldn't get it to work with the aftermarket alarm.

No Groove on OBX Crank Pulley for Timing??

Or just put the stock one on, set the timing and then just put the obx on. Not too difficult to do on the 7mgte.

    Toyota Dolphin with 7MGTE?

I found some more info on the dolphin... apparently it has a curb weight of 3,500 lbs and gets around 20mpg with the 22r. Hopefully that stays the same with the 7m in place. :biglaugh: Isn't that the same curb weight as our supra? lol.

    Toyota Dolphin with 7MGTE?

Aren't they using a 1uzfe? But yeah, basically it should be the same as doing a 7mgte swap into a toyota truck. Shouldn't be all that tough to do and the upgraded rear axle should be able to handle the extra power of the 7mgte.

    Toyota Dolphin with 7MGTE?

lol. Probably going to go pick that baby up next week. Mostly likely do a 7mgte swap, it'll make for a nice little camping rig for my brothers and I. :evil2:

    Toyota Dolphin with 7MGTE?

This isn't the exact motorhome, but it's in pretty much the same shape, same color scheme. It would actually be a do-able swap IMO, since 7mge swaps appear to be fairly common among the 1980's-late 90's toyota trucks. However, a 7mgte into a paseo wouldn't work (engine layout is all...

    Toyota Dolphin with 7MGTE?

I just saw a toyota dolphin motorhome for sale around the block. 22r engine, but the clutch is out. He wanted $600 for the whole thing. I took at look at it and it's in pretty decent shape. Got me thinking though... that motorhome would rock with a 7mgte in it! Who thinks I should do it...

n/a vs tc and later a 5.0 stang

Once you get used to turbo's, you won't like NA's anymore. They just don't have that top-end kick like turbos do.

n/a vs tc and later a 5.0 stang

If it'll make you feel better, I smoked a teenager in his parent's 2001 BMW 540i. :biglaugh:

    I think I f-ed something up...

Yeah, I believe you've got to use a ohm meter. Measure the resistance at closed, partial, and open throttle; the resistances should match up to the tsrm values. Unfortunately, I don't know those numbers off the top of my head.

    Clutch replacement

Yep same story here. I bought my clutch from Napa and it turned out to be a w58 clutch; the pressure plate was so wimpy looking compared to the stock one.

new head gasket job car runs like crap

On my friends car, we had to change out his spark plugs even though they were fairly new. That solved his missing problem.

just got a 89 supra and wont rev past 2700

First of all, take that resistor out of the AFM wires. Reconnect those cut AFM wires. That should solve your problem rev limit problem, if not also make sure the AFM signal is connected on the SAFC and it's set to Karman airflow meter; if it's not set to Karman type, it'll rev limit you to...

Would love to see a Supra dash like this -->

Reminds me of a 240z datsun interior, but I agree it'll look pimp in a MK3 if it was made of the same material as the rest of the interior and showered with digital gauges.

Going to get ass killed but exhaust question

Did anyone notice how the Ebay catback is not a true 3" system? It looks like the flange is 2.5" then it flares out to 3". :biglaugh: I guess it wouldn't really matter if you are running the stock cat, but if you are running a 3" cat or testpipe then I wouldn't buy that ebay catback; however...
