Installed one of those Ebay manifolds with a T61 and now the supra has a slight loping at idle.... is this normal? Certainly sounds different from my old stock setup. The rpm is stable however, it just sounds like one cylinder is stronger then the other.

Haha, yeah I made it home and put the T61 in the car and it runs GREAT! Only one problem now, I hit FC at around 4,000 rpms when I smash the gas pedal.
.84 AR, besides I connected the vac line today and took it up to 6,000 and still no boost. :icon_conf
As for the wastegate I didn't place the curved adaptor plate on, which may help the valve on the wastegate seal. I just placed the wastegate directly onto the pipe with no adapter plate so...
Turbo: T61
Manifold: Ebay manifold
Wastegate: 50mm HKS wastegate
But yeah, I'm just going to tap the line in front of the turbo on a intercooler pipe. So if there is no vac line the external wastegate should remain shut regardless of spring tension?
Well the car has never seen over 3000 rpms... that's not even enough to boost. But yeah either the wastegate is stuck or I installed it incorrectly.
Today I actually tried to boost it and my gauge just showed 0. No shaft play or oil out the exhaust. Still spins freely. :icon_conf
My turbo doesn't have a vac line so would I run it from the throttle body? Can I get a diagram or picture?
Also isn't the max boost controlled by the spring? I have a 1 bar spring in mine.
Well I think my external wastegate isn't hooked up right because all I did was mount it onto the manifold and didn't connect any vac lines to it. Did I do something wrong here? My external wastegate came with no instructions.
There are two threaded holes on the top, one in the center and...
