Were you able to do that wit the head on? The only type that I know of that you can use with the head on is the type below, and I haven't been able to find one that will fit in the head.

What valve spring compressor did you guys use? I can't seem to find one that will fit between the spring and the channel in the head.

Well I figured it out, guess I will post how in case it helps anyone out. I connected the black, white, and black/white wires on the connector with 9 wires. Picture attached

Everything I've found are for a JZA70 harness, these are the colors I have on my transmission side of my Soarer harness: 1 connector with 3 wires: blue/red, green, white/red 2 connectors with 2 wires: both have green wire and red wire Another connector with 3 wires: Yellow, red, blue/red...

Well I went to go put the clutch line on my 1J and noticed the master cyl and clutch line were both female. Is there some kind of fitting that goes into the master cylinder?

Hey guys, Is this connector the C1 connector? Location and wire colors seem right, but from research it should be gray? The chassis is an 88.

This thread's got me a bit confused. Doesn't the power wire from the alternator connect to the fuse box and not straight to the battery? Pretty sure that's how the 7m wire are ran.

For a R154 bolting to a 1J, which pilot bearing do I need? 7mgte or 2jz? I'm talking about the one going in the flywheel, not on the clutch. Thanks

On the intake side I just put the fuel dampner on top of the motor mount.
