Wow actually that looks slightly easier since its not a solid unbend-able piece. Easier to work with maybe too. The pictures helped a lot tho, thanks for those

I had thought this was what i was looking for.... It also looks like the current line in my car.
But will that hose work aswell??
Well they also painted the side indicator lights, which i took off and was able to use brake cleaner on to get like 90% of the spray paint off. Im assuming the idiot used normal matte black spray paint.
Yes. My mechanic double checked me too. Its actually rusted at one point in the line and is leaking directly on top of my right lower control arm. Though i cant visibly see where the leak is coming from.
edit: If i can somehow get a good photo of the pipe and where its leaking ill post it here.
Well the thing is that the progressive power steering line is $500~ OEM from NAPA. And while i can just get a non progressive line for about $70, right now its very short term and Im trying to save the pump. I also have yet to see what installing the non PPS line would affect if anything. Right...
When you buy your Supra, have friends come over looking for a ride, and telling them you cant cause you have to fix x, x, and x. (Supra owner for a month now :D)
When your Supra will never be "dead", just "in need of work"
Ok so this time its about my tail lights. The asshat of an owner before me must've thought blacked out taillights were soooo awesome that he spray painted the inside of my tail lights -______- Now i can get the plastic tail light pieces off the car. But i cant separate the two layers of it. I'm...
LOL im sorry i JUST saw your post on my other thread i had started. The one that you suggested cutting the belt!!! Great minds think alike i guess! Thanks though!
That's EXACTLY why I'm doing it!!! Hahaa. Don't have the money to fix it right now. So easiest remedy is this!
Now I've never driven without power steering. But I'm assuming the most drastic change ill notice will be at low speeds?
I currently need to just temporarily disable my power steering. I'm just going to take the belt off to do so. But the question I have is this. To save myself the struggle and time.... can I just cut the belt? Since its inexpensive anyway and I would have to do the installation procedure the same...
ohhh, Thanks for clearing that up. So all in all not a drastic change. Still a bit of a noob, only have had my Supra about a month and am still learning quite alot.
Thanks! Ill have to try in a day or too. Major snow storm last night :/ And I had seen the pump (im assuming the same one i would get from either places you recc.) from autozone/advanced auto for about 70ish dollars. And as far as ive been able to read the only difference i would have (since its...
Hey, was just wondering if anyone had any info on how i would go about removing just my power steering belt without dismantling too much else. My pressure hose is shot and toyota wants 500 for a new one because i have "progressive power steering". Thing is, im just going to buy the non-PPS...
