i have the hose and pressure sender, but my sensor is stuck in the block. can anyone confirm if that hex head plug to the left of the stock sensor location is an oil pressure port?

a good 1/2" impact is still the preferred method, but the breaker bar trick works in a pinch... leave your timing belt on unless you want to risk damaging valves and pistons

if i am not mistaked the sensor on the 1jz oil pan is for low oil level, is this correct? I want to wire it up to an led. Also on the 1jz there is no oil pressure gauges, but a low oil pressure warning light. has anyone incorporated these into their dashes? pics? thanks mike

Its been a while but ive made alot more progress. Figured the wiring out, then it started up first try. Now I have my intercooler mounted and piped and all major things done, all I need now is my MAP sensor to arrive from the slow boat from Japan. I cant wait to drive the thing, much better...

brake cleaner kills the afm, they are super sensitive. test your afm, but it sounds like you killed it.
