So what does this part actually do as I have read that it is connected to the charcaol can stock and from other threads it controls fuel somehow- Is it necessary when running stock(chaser)ecu?
Well was looking at some things under car last night and noticed that one of the nipples is broke off the fuel pressure up vsv(the nipple that is near the engine). This part number is 17650 on the vacuum layout- This may be why the car is having issues starting and running really rough. Anyway...
Ok- So I have a 1jz in the car and was running great started everytime. Well I wanted to put a single fuel line in and eliminate the dampener. SO....I went ahead and made a single line from the filter to the fuel rail and now starts go like this- Turn key car starts idles up nad than dies...

i had to supply the black/red strip(going to the iacv) with 12v and boom- fired right up --
only weird thing is that I didnt have the IGNSW wire hooked up as I was only testing something -lol
I wonder if hooking 12v directly to +batt and +batt1 bypasses the IGNSW...
