i would just start going through everything and planning out what you should leave in. basically just motor and trans comes out. don't take out more than you have to now, cause it will be alot easier to wire everything up for the 1j if you know what it is.

There was mention of having hte paint "baked," does this have to be done or is there paint that doesn't need to be "baked?" I am also a "newbie" to paint but i'm painting my car the first week in june so i'm trying to get as much info as possible. A couple other questions come to mind...
