i scraped mine off with a razor blade and used a red paint marker. it came out good and shows up great tht at night. I did the tip white. I also recomend to paint the very tip. As the light shines through it hits the tip and reflects back. Pics in a second

It has to be the capacitors. Send it in. I was gona say maybe it has to warm up. on cold mornings mine idles at 1500 but if its doing all that it has to have a blown capacitor. Driftmotion will get it fixed and even test it.
