well im not taking the chances with the 1st gear thrust washer. so i got a HD one and a HD carrier bearing support bracket from marlin crawler HD bearing carrier: $45 HD thrust washer: $45 (you have to ask for it they dont have it listed on their web site.)

you can use the 4 piston toyota 4x4 front calipers on it to get better brakes :) and use a 280 or 300zx rear diff in it too. i had one of those datsuns with a chevy v-8 in it...my 2 problems was 1 traction, 2 BENDING THE FRAME! good luck

are they stock rings or for forged pistons? whats sean's screen name? sent the block out on sat with aaron.....hopefully the block is 100% a.ok! if not i dont know what ill do.....

hahah thanks guys....im haveing the block cleaned and checked out @ a machine shop...so before i buy i need to make sure the block is ok. as for using 2jz pistons i wont anymore....its only 100-200 bucks more for a set if custom made 1jzgte pistons...so ill get thoes if need be.

said is one thing, knowing 100% is another....thats how i found out about the 2j rings not fitting.....i heard they did, but know one actually tryed them. so i need to know 100% with pics before i buy...
