Did this last year. I have a 86.5 car with a 87 harness. the motor is a 92. The only plugs that are different are the thermostat housing sensors. so just use the old housing, or swap out the individual sensors.

pretty common because of the shitty philips head screws. replace em' for some nice allen head cap screws for cheap. thread pitch: m6x1.0 27mm long.

my advice on this would be not to put "budget" parts on your car. do it once. save your money and get a metal headgasket.

usps is the way to go for sure. dhl isnt bad ethier . but i dont know if you can do that in the states.

i have used both on the same tranny before and not noticed a difference. but my wiring harness stayed the same (all yellow plug baby!). i think if i were you i would use the one for the 88. check for codes. also, just out curiosity, did you put the shifter back were its supposed to be...

i believe the wiring is different if the new tranny came from a car with abs. im currently working on solving this. but i lack time. sorry for the late response.
