    BOOT

I think you are trying to ask about a camp on CV joint boot. If that's the case, then yes, I've heard of them. They don't work very well and sling grease all over everything under the car.

The Marlin thrust washer is a one-off deal. It's just a cryo-treated stocker, but seems to be holding up a bit better. Also, there are additional oiling grooves machined into the washer to try and keep a little oil between it and first gear. After breaking 2 others, I got smart and quit...

So on my past couple of drives, I had noticed a bit of a pull and the smell of overheated brakes. It appears that my stock calipers were getting sticky, and the right caliper was stuck, which killed the pad and overheated the rotor. Here is my solution, thanks to AZP :biglaugh: My old Konig...

    Critique the car above you

You've obviously never driven in Albuquerque... My ST springs lowered my car PLENTY for the streets around here. I'd LOVE to have it slammed like yours, but fear I'd break stuff out here... Thanks for the comments. Ryan

    Critique the car above you

I've got the factory originals in pristine condition. I just use the rubber mats everyday, and stick the carpets in for shows and such. Guess I should have drug them out for the pictures.... Ryan

Home Depot Strut tower bars! (With Pics)

These so-called strut bars are doing nothing but looking terrible. There is no structural integrity, and there is NO way you can feel the difference with the bars installed-vs-not. Even the super-high-dollar strut bars make little difference on a car that has flexy worn out 20 year old rubber...

    replacement keyfob

Just get that remote from the dealer. It's a basic 2 button oval remote, and should be easy to find. To program it, hold down the green button on the alarm brain with a toothpick while turning the ignition on. Wait for the red status LED to illuminate, then hit a button on the remote- it...

Check your thread... I should have just painted the whole thing, but I only had favors that covered bits and pieces at a time. It's close now though. I may try to have the headlamp covers painted, they're showing a chip or two in their old age. Ryan

Its factory Pearl White. I was toying with leaving the lower grille out and trimming the tabs off of the bumper cover, but decided to keep the "stock" sleeper look. Most folks don't look twice at my car, since it looks mostly stock. The wheels are the only obvious change. I picked the HKS...

Fresh paint and a brandy new front lip from Toyota. Damn thing was $180 at employee cost, and still doesn't fit straight :aigo: Still, not too bad for a 20 year old car! Ryan

Let me work on some interior shots. It's burgandy leather, in mostly MINT condition. A little wear on the steering wheel and drivers seat outer bolster is all. The car has been garaged almost all of it's life, and only has like 120k Miles on it... That front lip is brand new, as are the...

    Earl Scheib?

Earl Schieb and the like are one step above rattle bombs. Don't let them touch your car if you want it to look decent. You CAN afford a decent body shop to paint your car- just do all the stripping yourself. Take off the bumper covers, all the trim, all the lights, all the door handles...

It was a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" sort of deal...:naughty: The painter and I swapped services- I work as a Toyota Master Tech, so I overhauled the engine in his old 3.0 4Runner and he painted the car...

Now for some Specs, if I can remember them all. I haven't really been in the Supra game for a few years now, the car has just sat in the Garage and gone for Sunday drives. HKS TEMS Controller ST Springs/Swaybars Tokico Illumina II's Koenig wheels, 17x9 rear, 17x8 front Nitto NT555's Greddy...

I just got my car back from the body shop, where I had a little "freshening" done to it. I had the header panel and front bumper painted, as well as both sides from the belt moulding down to the bottom. The rear bumper and 1/4 panels, as well as upper doors and b-pillars and roof were painted...
