    LOL.. I'll be honest i have used that technique to install some studs (Mostly for removing stuck studs). It works, nothing dangerous about it.

    You can put two nuts on the stud and tighten them against each other. And torque. Or upgrade your studs to the 2JZ studs.

    Everything is in the right direction. I undid the rear three caps and the front three and retorqued them and the problem fixed itself. I have built several 7M's but never seen this before?????It seems like one of the bearings was not sitting properly. Thnx for the response gaboon
