Great points. Btw this is only my 2nd 7m engine build. Have built hundreds of honda engines. That was my scene for more than a decade. So I'm still learning about the toyota engines and they are different, Better in some aspect and worst in other but overall they are better. The oiling system on...
Just trying to help explain why the increase could be happening. More oil pressure is only good to a point. IMHO, the oil system we have low pressure high flow is probably the best minus a dry sump of coarse. Just like the last honda engine I built for a freind. He didnt know what he was doing...
With the tach jumping around and it breaking up like that, it seems like your loosing sync with your cam/crank signal. I had the same issue with my megasquirt at first. Clean the contacts and move the gap closer and see if that helps out any.
Pressure goes up as flow goes down and filtration goes up. Just as a supercharger on a stock engine might see 10psi. Take that same engine, port the head with valve job, change nothing at all besides that. Reinstall the supercharger and the same setup will see probably 6psi with more power than...
That's normally how it goes. You could do business for years and have one person who is either a PITA or just isn't happy and leaves bad rep. But all the thousands that were happy never said anything. It actually aggravates me if you can't tell lol
Nice, the only thing I have really seen was the steering spacers. That helps only takes our cars from having no steering angle at all to around a normal car. Do you happen to have a link on the product? That would be awesome.
It looks like there should be enough airflow around/under/over the diff. Must use synthetic fluid to hang with the heat. Can you believe that after looking at the photo 3 times I didn't notice it until you said something.
Did you change the weight of the oil? Pressure is a resistance to flow, which isn't always the best thing. So if you did not change the weight of your oil that increase is probably due to the oil being older and losing viscosity. Now if you just changed the filter with another and got a increase...
3"-3.5" downpipe , 3.5" midpipe into 4" out the back. When going that big there really isnt any choice but to just go under the dif. You loose ground clearance but you got to make sacrafices.
13.8 ohm 220cc injectors. So they are saturated aka high impedance. Mk3 supra use peak and hold aka low impedance. Not to mention they are even smaller that 7mge 295cc injectors. So sorry they aren't worth anything really. Btw that isnt a coating, those are pintle covers and they are plastic...
