Hoping to get in the 12's this summer, I"ll be upgrading my fuel system and turbo probably towards the end of june so hopefully I'll be able to get in the 12's. . .only thing that sucks is that all the close tracks to me are 1/8th the 1/4 mile track that I'm gonna have to go to is about 2 hours...

well this thread is pretty old and noone replied so I just figured I'd tell you - if you still even know this thread exists - that you can get ahold of HKS and they will tell you. That's what I'd do if I didn't know anyways.

thanks man, i got it parked right now, its going to paint shop next week and i'm waiting on my ngk plugs, msd wires, and intercooler, once i get those its time to go to my uncles work to bend a hardpipe kit, after that i'll put it back on the road!

did you tune your safc yourself? if so how complicated is it? I'm gonna get that and a avcr after i get my problems i have now fixed and after i get fmic and hardpipes. I would like to learn to do it myself but don't want to screw anything up. I know a guy who has a modded mk3 (nearly 400rwhp)...

Another thing, I didn't get engine codes until like a minute or so after i started it back up and it seemed like after I let it run for another minute it was running a bit better and would rev a bit, but idle is still a litte rough. I don't want to leave it running w/o being sure whats going on...

Ok I got codes 31 afm signal 41 tps just for further info, i spliced into white wire on middle plug on the ecu, 3rd wire from the left on the top. thats the only thing i cut and its wired back together. any ideas?

Okay, I had some previous problems about car running rich and a/f gauge not working correctly. So just a few minutes ago I found the ecu pinout and unhooked negative batter wire, hooked up the a/f gauge to the o2 singal wire near ecu. Then I reset ecu to see if that would help with the problem...

Which wire did you hook your purple to? Did you hook it to the blue coming from the o2? That could be the problem w/mine. I don't have an instruction manual, it was all installed by a previous owner
